National Lutheran Schools Week, from January 21- 27, provides our network of nearly 2,300 LCMS preschools, elementary schools, and high schools with the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work among us in Lutheran schools. Join us for a dinner on Sunday, January 21 at 11:15 AM, after our worship service, to begin this year's celebration.

We thank God for the opportunity to provide excellent academic preparation for the children we serve. We are most grateful for the opportunity to share Jesus’ amazing love with children and their families. National Lutheran Schools Week gives us an opportunity to proclaim these great blessings within the communities we serve.

Our schools are amazing incubators for faithful witness of God’s love for us through Christ by teachers and students alike.

Dear Parents,

The theme for the year is “Run with Perseverance” is based on the Bible reference in Hebrews 12:1. Travelling through the school year with all its successes and challenges is much like running a long-distance race. There are times that students can be tempted to give up or even not put in the full effort that is required. That lack of effort can be applied to both our faith and to our school work. However, God is our life line and the one who will grant us success if we hand over our cares to Him. Please be encouraged to pray for the students and their teachers during these moments of struggle. As God hears our prayers, He will indeed provide what is needed, much like that extra burst of energy that distance runners have toward the end of the race. Trust in the Lord always and He will energize all those who rely on Him with His Spirit. So, run with perseverance through this school year!

Yours in Christ,

Mr. B
